The name, read literally: worked steps on graph paper, with one step circled in red pen and a question mark beside it. It shares the sibling covers' layout (dark ground, Futura, cortech.online footer) with a red-pen coral accent, and carries no lab's name or mark. It is 3000x3000, and the title stays legible at 200 px. Cory approved it on 2026-09-26. make_cover.py regenerates it byte-for-byte. The motif is the show's name read literally: worked steps on graph paper, with one step circled in red pen and a question mark beside it. It shares the family layout of the other covers (dark ground, Futura, the cortech.online footer) with a red-pen coral accent. It carries no lab's name, logo or mark, and the title stays legible at 200 px.skills/show-your-work/refs/make_cover.py: regenerates the image byte-for-byte (verified by matching sha256 prefixdef1e4a026e11c1ebefore and after a re-run). Nothing in a run calls it. This is the same posture as Surface Tension'srefs/make_cover.py.tests/test_syw_write.py::test_the_cover_passes_renders_cover_gatepins the committed art torender.check_cover_image, the same gate pre-flight applies.
