Code looks good. Approval waits on the trusted checker's checks evidence.
Candidate selection keeps host execution within reviewed templates and rejects artifact substitution. The earlier resolver, file-read and diagnostic findings are fixed; no inline comments follow.
note: The trusted checker reports incomplete latest-attempt evidence for checks, although this commit's full CI and growth checks succeeded. A passing trusted evaluation will settle approval.
Advisor feedback: 2 addressed, 1 inapplicable, none open.
Recommended E2E: cloud onboarding, OpenClaw, Hermes and both security-posture lanes passed; protected multiarch and protected runtime were not run.
Tested: the copied-lock regression fails on the base and passes here. Focused support, integration and workflow suites, the planner entry point, CLI build and CLI typecheck pass. Live protected qualification was not run under the current trusted controller.

@deepujain Following up on this review: I reproduced the The failure is in the checker, not missing CI execution. GitHub exposes two separate records named This is a pre-existing checker defect outside this PR's candidate-dependency/E2E changes. We propose handling the checker repair separately rather than expanding #12847. A local diagnostic fix passed 20 regression evaluations across the original and repaired checker, including rejection of failed/pending growth status and missing/failed/pending CI. The fix has not been published or adopted as trusted code. This scope distinction is not a CI waiver or an approval claim. The trusted checker still fails, and its disposition remains a maintainer decision. The documented protected-controller qualification boundary is unchanged. |

LGTM. The code review found no blocking issues, and full CI and the growth-policy check passed on da4ce1d.
The trusted checker's "checks: latest attempt evidence incomplete" result is a checker defect, not missing CI: the growth-policy workflow now also publishes a commit status named checks, and the checker expects an Actions run link on every checks record. That fix belongs in a separate PR, so I am approving on the passing CI evidence.
Outcome
PR E2E uses the upgrade commit's reviewed dependency inputs instead of forcing main's versions. This change consolidates #12848's Deep Agents controller fix and extends candidate selection through protected CPU/GPU image builds and the OpenShell host runtime.
The acceptance target is at most two PRs for upgrades to existing supported dependencies: normally one upgrade PR, plus one trust/bootstrap prerequisite when necessary. Ordinary version bumps must not need a third workflow-fix PR.
Reason
OpenShell #12603 needs candidate runtime qualification, and Deep Agents #12376 needs its candidate base in the protected controller. Selecting candidate artifacts only in ordinary jobs leaves protected consumers on main's dependencies. Pi also needs to publish source before it can attach the resulting qualification receipts.
Changes
--publicationcheck for local source publication, including later repairs in the same PR. The same PR then adds both published receipts and matching authority. CI remains strict; partial refreshes and source drift fail.Verification

2cde38759toda4ce1dand reports no actionable comments. All three recorded review threads are resolved. Earlier parity, receipt, fixture, pathname-race and diagnostic findings were repaired; current core CI and security scanning passed afterward. All reported PR checks and the focused manual E2E run are green on
da4ce1d. GitHub reports no merge conflicts, but human review remains required. The protected qualification boundary below remains unresolved; no automated review grants human approval or merge authority.Remaining qualification boundary
Current trusted main accepts only the v1 protected activation contract; this PR introduces the v2 controller needed by candidate builds. Running that known-rejected protected path before adoption would not qualify it. Live protected candidate OpenShell/SDK projection therefore still needs the adopted trusted controller, followed by testing the existing upgrade PR. No third workflow PR should be needed for that supported path.
The completed Docker/Podman tests do not establish OpenShell 0.1.2 coverage or every dependency combination. Both current native Pi publications and strict CI passed; Pi source publication and receipt attachment remain within this PR. New release trust, SDK dependency graphs, permissions or controller protocols may require the one allowed trust/bootstrap prerequisite.
This PR does not claim full release qualification, waive missing evidence, resolve the separate inference epic, or authorize merge.
